PROFESSIONAL LIABILITY INSURANCE FOR NOTARIES AND LAWYERS:

According to German Federal Lawyers’ Act (BRAO) lawyers are obliged to take out professional liability insurance for notaries. There is also an obligation to take out professional liability insurance for notaries. The minimum insurance sum accounts 500,000.00 Euro. We have taken out professional liability insurance based on a higher sum insured than the minimum insurance sum. Further details shall be set out in section 19a III of the Federal Notary Act (BNotO). For our professionals (notaries and lawyers) professional liability insurance has been taken out as follows: HDI-Gerling Firmen und Privatversicherung AG, Riethorstraße 2, 30659 Havvover, insurance policy number: HxF70-006766014/524.
